In the late 1940’s a middle-aged man and his wife were driving home from the city. It was a dark and stormy night; the road was barely visible in the pouring rain. Out of the darkness appeared the silhouette of a person walking alongside the road, the man swerved, and stopped the car. He got out to investigate and discovered a pale faced young woman, soaking wet, wearing soiled and torn clothing. Feeling pity for the girl, the couple decided to bring her home and care for her. The couple tried in vain to find out who the girl was and where she was from but it seemed as if she had appeared out of nowhere. 

As time passed the couple decided to raise the girl as their own since they were unable to have children. Days turned into months and months turned into years and they raised their daughter as best they could but noticed a strangeness about her that continued to grow. They once believed her appearance was a blessing but soon realized it was a curse… they realized they had invited something evil into their home.

At first, it started with little things such as chairs moving, doors opening on their own, and whispering voices in the walls of their home. It grew like an infection spreading and consuming all; then when hope disappeared and the darkness took over, it became truly terrifying… The dreams of their daughter were becoming their nightmares.
